    Summary:

    This position is responsible for analytical, sourcing, and operational support for the sourcing of “NA Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen” used in the North American Coca-Cola Bottling network.   

    Analytical and Sourcing support include, but are not limited to:

    • Gathering and analyzing data to help drive fact-based decision making to improve value via the 7-step sourcing process.
    • Taking accountability to resolve or manage resolution of day-to-day procurement-related issues.
    • Connecting, gathering, and aligning business needs with key stakeholders within GSP, CPS, CCBSS, and CCNA.
    • Managing complex supplier relationships to maximize value for the business.
    • Developing Category Strategy, Contracting, Negotiations, and Financial forecasting for spend under responsibility. 

    Operational support means working with cross-functional partners, bottlers, buying operations, and suppliers to ensure supply continuity, service, quality, and system data integrity. For our large base of internal customers, this person is often the first point of escalation on supply chain issues.   

    Candidates must be able to manage priorities, exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communicate concisely. The ideal candidate will have capability to lead sourcing projects, supplier relationships, and support operational excellence projects related to the ingredients in their portfolio of responsibility.  

    Essential job duties and responsibilities:

    • Procurement Systems & Processes – Accountable for timely SAP system set-up and P2P reconciliations.  Identify and implement process improvements to procurement change management (i.e. clear communication to stakeholders)
    • Business Continuity Planning/Supply Assurance- Establishing and implementing robust BCP/Supply Assurance plans for the bottling system for one of Coke’s most volatile commodities.
    • Supply Chain Support – Responsible to understand and lead resolution of day-to-day procurement-related supply chain issues.  Collaborate with Operational Procurement and Conversion to drive quantifiable continuous improvement in supply, quality and service.
    • Collaborate, Communicate, & Drive Action – Communicate effectively and document plan to drive alignment among internal partners and suppliers.  Has experience to escalate issues with concise background that prompts urgent action as well as inform leadership. 
    • Supplier Relationship Management – Analyze and communicate supplier performance data in accordance with negotiated supply agreements to drive continuous improvement.
      • Effective communication style that drives alignment among user groups and suppliers with conflicting objectives.
      • Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to drive quantified continuous improvement.
    • Strategic Sourcing - Negotiate, implement and manage contracts to ensure optimum and sustainable total cost of ownership and reliable supply.
      • Manage CCBSS’s Category Management & 7 Step Strategic Sourcing Process
      • Analyze market forecasts and projections to develop and update budgets on monthly / annual basis
      • Ensure compliance with Procurement Policies and SOX rules   

    Qualifications:

    • Required:
    • Subject matter expertise in standard analytical tools (i.e. Excel) and procurement systems (SAP, contract manager)
    • Proven success in managing high level of data complexity, complex supply chains, and high impact supply issues within a bottling and/or franchise network
    • Knowledge of procurement policies, practice and procedures
    • Knowledge of supply chain management processes
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills required

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
