    CCS CONSTRUCTION STAFFING IS A SMALL BUT GROWING COMPANY BASED OUT OF CHARLOTTE, NC. WE ARE SEEKING A SHARP, MOTIVATED, SELF-STARTER TO JOIN OUR AWARD-WINNING TEAM AS A REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE! THIS JOB IS AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY. NO PREVIOUS PAYROLL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE IS A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED.

     

    Remote Customer Service Job Description

    Purpose is to assist payroll department by answering inbound calls regarding payroll inquiries. 

     

    CCS Construction Staffing is based in Charlotte, NC and provides skilled construction trades to contractors throughout the US. In 2008, CCS operated in one state. Now, CCS has active operations in over 15 states. This position is full-time with benefits (401k, Medical, Vision, Dental, Vacation, Sick etc.).

    Responsibilities include:

    • Answer all Payroll incoming calls

    • Create Yammers to communicate with Payroll and Company about issues

    • Log issues on employee profiles as they occur

    • Transfer calls when necessary to appropriate department

    • Assisting employees with issues including address change, lost checks, and other payroll issues

    • Communicate updates on all payroll related Yammers

    • Complete employment verifications for the DOL, CSS, and other Government bodies

    • Create employment verification letters

    • Pull and manipulate reports to produce metrics

    • Utilize Sense to communicate with Trade Employees

    • Communicate and assist Support Staff with Trade Employee issues

     

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in customer service
    • High-speed internet connection required
    • High call-volume experience required
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Positive and professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
    • Experience in the construction industry preferred
    • Other duties as assigned
