COUNTER POSITION

Are you tired of the restaurant and retail store business? CD One Price Cleaners is looking for an outgoing Counter/Customer Service Representative to join our location in Plainfield, IL. CD One Price Cleaners is a privately held, 36 store chain of dry cleaning and laundry “superstores” based in the Chicago area.

We are seeking a customer service orientated Counter Associate to assist customers dropping off or picking up their garments as well as tagging garments prior to cleaning and pressing. You will keep the front lobby area clean and orderly, greet customers, and provide a positive experience for everyone who comes into the store. Our store hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and we are closed on Sundays. We provide a positive work environment with training and support on our point-of-sale system and the proper customer service procedures.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Positive attitude is a must.
• Ability to engage with our customers.
• Prior dry cleaning or laundry experience preferred but not required. High School diploma
• 6 months minimum work experience in a customer facing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO:

• Stand or move through the store for long periods of time during a shift.
• Ability to learn and utilize the company point-of-sale system.
• Carry garments from the rack to the customer service station or out to a customer’s car.
• Work in an environment that can be hot and humid during the summer months.
