*HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE

The Inside Sales Representative has responsibilities to manage quotes, orders, and customer inquiries within the CDI Value Stream system. This person must learn the workflow of quotes, orders, new parts, and also coordinate daily with Manufacturing to assure customer requirements and ship dates are being met. Communication skills, a customer-drive focus, and an aggressive can-do attitude are essential for success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Master multiple disciplines and workflow within the team

· Serve as the “voice of the customer”, advocating for customer needs and requirements

· Manage daily meetings to review the current open order log, and help solve issues where needed

· Engage with multiple internal departments, ensuring proper legal formalities are followed, and managing customer expectations.

· Handle customer relationships include expedite requests, customer requirements, and customer complaints.

· Work with OEM customer portals, uploading and downloading purchase orders and sales order acknowledgements to assure we are working with the customer digital workflow system.

· Maintain up-to-date information on all assigned accounts and report to management as requested.

· Interfaces with Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical Services, and Purchasing Department personnel on material and production planning issues.

· Develop and monitor assigned customer quotes using the internal quotation system. This includes running pricing software, checking for pricing discrepancies, working with technical/manufacturing groups to determine accurate pricing and ensuring quotes are sent to customers on time.

· Input sales orders accurately and timely into the internal ERP system. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that accurate pricing is on file and stated on the customer PO, reviewing internal drawings and specifications to identify revisions, adding new parts to the ERP system, confirming orders, and initiating changes when needed.

· Be familiar with and utilize internal manufacturing systems to check bill of materials (BOMs) and routers; check lead times on purchased parts and/or materials; monitor progress of high-profile and expedited orders.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in Business related area or commensurate experience. Entry level experience in customer service, sales, or marketing preferred
