    Position summary: Ensure the stable operation of in-house CADD (computer-aided drafting and design) software within the organization. This includes assisting with installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing designated CADD software platforms (Autodesk, Bentley, etc.) across the enterprise. The agent will also analyze and resolve user CADD program issues in a timely and accurate fashion.

    Essential functions and responsibilities

    • Assist, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for CADD software administration and appropriate use.
    • Assist in migration projects to newer versions of CADD applications as needed.
    • Configure and initiate CADD software, related hardware, and any other corresponding CADD assets.
    • Provide tier 2 on-call technical support
    • Assist with enforcement of CADD standards regarding layering, dimensioning, text annotations, BIM\CIM, and other aspects of CADD usage.
    • Assist with training sessions and teaching materials for propagating CADD knowledge throughout the organization.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Degree or certification in CADD or other engineering or design-related field
    • 2-5 years of related experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, various Autodesk products, OpenRoadsDesigner, OpenBrdige Modeler, or various Bentley products
    • Knowledge of design and drafting procedures, best practices and tools

    Preferred Experience

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science technology.
    • Proficient in Bentley and\or Autodesk CADD products
    • Proficient in ProjectWise and\or Autodesk Construction Cloud

    Working Conditions

    Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

    1. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor.
    2. Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
    3. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
    4. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
    5. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
