  • Responsibilities

    ****This job posting is for an over-the-road (OTR) truck driving position with a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and modern equipment. Here's a summary of the key points:

    Schedule:

    • On the Road : 12 days out, followed by 2 full days off (48 hours) every other weekend.
    • Routes : Primarily east of I-35, but you may be dispatched across all 48 states depending on freight needs.
    • Mileage : Expect to drive around 2,000-2,200 miles per week, depending on Hours of Service (HOS) and available loads.

    Freight & Operations:

    • Freight : All no-touch freight for convenience.
    • Drop & Hook: 50-60% of loads are drop-and-hook; 40-50% require live unloading.
    • City Restrictions : No forced dispatch into New York City or its boroughs.

    Equipment & Support:

    • Trucks : Late-model (2021+) Freightliner Cascadias or Kenworths.
    • Support : 24/7 operations specialist assistance is available.

    Pay & Benefits:

    • Base Pay : Based on experience:
      • 3-5 months : $0.57 per mile
      • 6-11 months : $0.58 per mile
      • 12-23 months : $0.60 per mile
      • 2-9 years : $0.62 per mile
      • 10+ years : $0.64 per mile
    • Additional Pay : * Detention Pay : $12.50/hour after the second hour of waiting. * Layover/Breakdown Pay : $100 per day. * Sign-On Bonus : $500 after your first load, and another $500 after 30 days. * Mileage Bonus : Earn an additional 3 cents per mile based on safety, mileage, and productivity (eligibility begins the first of the month following hire).

    Other Notes:

    • No Forced Dispatch into NYC : You'll be able to avoid driving into the city and its boroughs.

    Rider & Pet Policies:

    • Rider Policy:
      • Must be at least 10 years old (under 18 requires legal custody).
      • Only 1 rider allowed at a time.
      • Riders cannot possess a valid CDL.
    • Pet Policy: * Only 1 dog or 1 cat allowed per truck (must not exceed 80 lbs). * Aggressive dog breeds are prohibited.
