Job Title:
CDL Driver (Bucket Truck)/ Electrician Helper
Position Overview:
Wesworth Electric is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Driver (Bucket Truck)/Electrician Helper to join our team. This position requires an individual with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to operate bucket trucks safely and assist electricians with various tasks in commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
CDL Driver Duties:
Safely operate bucket trucks and other commercial vehicles to and from job sites.
Ensure vehicles are maintained, inspected, and compliant with DOT regulations.
Load, secure, and transport materials and equipment as required.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues.
Electrician Helper Duties:
Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
Handle tools, materials, and equipment as directed by the lead electrician or supervisor.
Perform basic tasks such as running conduit, pulling wire, and mounting electrical devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure tools are in good working order.
Additional Duties:
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Support the team with any additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment is preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in the electrical or construction field is a plus.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to work at heights using a bucket truck and other equipment.
Flexibility to work overtime or travel to job sites as needed.
