This position will operate and control excavating and loading machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, and hydraulic shovels. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others. Excavate and remove soil, rocks, and debris from construction sites or mining areas as per project requirements.

Minimum qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B CDL driver's license, Class A preferred
- Ability to operate truck with a manual transmission
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years CDL truck driving experience
- Previous experience operating a service rig
- Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to lift in excess of 75lbs
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment to move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction.
- Operate heavy equipment to assist in the maintenance and repair of roadways.
- Read and interpret blueprints or designs to understand the requirements of the job.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, all local, state and federal laws and Kimble policies.
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspection of the vehicle, and document/report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
- Safely maneuver vehicle in residential and commercial environments and navigate high traffic areas.
- Immediately notifies Supervisor of accidents, injuries, or property damage
- Maintains and updates route sheets and driver logs
- Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
