In business for over 17 years, Green Energy Biofuel LLC is a recycling company that specializes in supplying biofuel feedstock to the largest biofuel producers in the world. Biofuels are derived from renewable organic materials, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and recycled cooking oil, making them a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option compared to conventional fossil fuels.
Our primary focus is on collecting waste cooking oil from various sources, including restaurants, food manufacturers, and other establishments. Green Energy Biofuel has expanded its services to include composting and depackaging to separate High Oil Yield food waste from packaging to further assist food manufacturers in reduction of waste. We would love to have you on our team, as our Aiken, SC facility is looking to hire an experienced Class A roll- off driver. This is a full-time position, day shift position. You will be home on nights and weekends!
Job Responsibilities
Complete pre-trip and post trip inspections of vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Report Issues to management.
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and kept in working order including knowledge of mechanics sufficient to make minor repairs while on the road.
Ensure route documentation, such as fuel purchases, are complete.
Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities relating to loading or delivery of materials.
Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste, safely load and unload containers.
Secure containers properly to ensure safe transportation
Maneuver truck into loading and unloading positions
As needed, collect used cooking oil and fats, oils and greases from customers
Assist with various plant projects and system operations at the plant when not driving
Support the Company's sustainability efforts.

Position Requirements:
Possess valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Tanker endorsement preferred
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations, clean MVR and insurable
Minimum two years of commercial driving experience with experience in operating a roll-off truck
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply to job.
Ability to write simple reports and correspondence such as pre- and post-trip inspections, accident reports, daily paperwork, etc.
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to carry out uninvolved written and/or oral instructions and to solve general problems.
Ability to follow instructions and work under limited supervision.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, and smell.
Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus due to the constant maneuvering of vehicle in tight and high traffic areas.
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
Sitting is required up to 85% of the time due to the primary function of driving.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
