    COMPENSATION:

    • $180,000 to $200,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

    LOCATION: 

    • greater Chicagoland area / suburbs
    • corporate office in Mokena
    • occasional travel to local sites required

    This practice operates more than 20 locations throughout the greater Chicagoland area, with their corporate office located in Mokena.  The Vice President of Human Resources may work out of any of the offices (i.e., can pick the office with the shortest commute to be their home base), but must be willing and able to travel to Mokena when needed.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:  The Vice President of Human Resources will strategize, execute, and oversee all human resources operations for the company.  This includes talent management, performance management, training and development, benefits, and payroll.

    Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

    • identify hiring needs and guide the talent management team
    • develop strategies to increase pool of quality applicants
    • oversee administration of employee benefits, adjusting as needed
    • support managers in conducting performance and coaching plans
    • supervise annual performance reviews
    • update performance review templates as roles evolve
    • function as a strategic business advisor to the CEO and executive team
    • create compensation scales for roles that reflect market salary and wage trends
    • prepare hiring plans to meet staffing needs of new and existing clinics
    • develop onboarding and training processes that increase retention
    • support biweekly payroll process
    • monitor employee retention and satisfaction trends
    • develop strategies to improve employee retention and satisfaction metrics

    The Vice President of Human Resources reports to the Chief Executive Officer and directly supervises 3 employees who each have 2+ direct reports of their own, for a total department staff of 10+ individuals.  Staff members include HR specialists, lead specialists, and talent acquisition specialists.

    The organization has approximately 500 FTEs and is poised to grow that number to 750 - 1,000 FTEs in the near future.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master’s Degree, Human Resources or related field
    • SHRM certification preferred, not required
    • 7+ years of relevant experience
    • HR leadership experience in companies of 500+ employees required
    • HR leadership experience in companies of 750+ employees preferred
