Join the Pueblo Police Department as the CIRV Project Manager and play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking community violence intervention initiative. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead a collaborative, cross-sector effort to reduce violent crime and criminal activity through evidence-based, community-centered strategies. As the backbone of the Pueblo CIRV Project, you'll engage government, academic, corporate, health, and nonprofit organizations to deliver life-saving services, address trauma, and create lasting change. This position is grant funded and will sunset upon the closure of the grant funding, eighteen months from hire date. Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business administration, criminal justice, social work, social science, or public administration (in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree with two additional years of experience, in each area described below, may be considered).
Three (3) years of strategic planning experience.
Three (3) years of meeting/planning and community engagement facilitation.
A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish for both oral and written communication.
Experience in leading high-level interventions which have resulted in long-term organizational success is highly desirable.
