  • Responsibilities

    CCCU is looking for a Financial Education Specialist who is an intensely passionate, creatively driven marketer that will bring energy, passion and the desire for improving financial literacy and educating our community. This position will play a key role in cultivating and delivering City & County Credit Union’s financial education programs to all age groups in our community and membership.

    Ultimately, the Financial Education Specialist will bring an energy and passion to deliver only the highest quality of work. They are eager to learn new skills and are motivated by team collaboration, while also being able to independently drive projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and deliver financial education curriculum to all age groups in our community and field of membership.
    • Manage and implement CCCU's financial education programs
    • Develop financial education curriculum based on current state standards and needs, including videos for social media and YouTube channels
    • Research financial education trends and requirements; collaborate with community partners and branch teams
    • Develop financial education promotional material as needed, which includes: involvement in any or all tactical phases of development (i.e. brainstorming, conception, copywriting, proofreading, editing, and graphic design)
    • Assist in the development and management of the credit union’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and any additional channels that may be deemed relevant
    • Follow Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) policies and procedures as they relate to this position

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Education or related field
    • 4 years professional experience in business development, sales management and/or marketing experience
    • Experienced public speaker, comfortable speaking in front of groups of 100+ people
    • Excellent PC skills with proficiency in many programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Experience with graphic design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Working knowledge of social media management platforms and email marketing software is beneficial
