Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Toileting
Feeding
Provide companionship and engage in conversation to support the client’s mental and emotional well-being.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent falls.
Offer medication reminders and ensure the client takes their medication as prescribed.
Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as:
Cleaning
Laundry
Organizing the client’s living space
Help with meal planning and preparation to ensure proper nutrition.
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
Maintain proper documentation of services provided and client progress.
Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Follow care plans to meet the client’s specific needs appropriately.
Qualifications:
Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Valid CPR certification
Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others
Ability to work independently and follow care plans
Good organizational and time-management skills
Physically able to assist clients with mobility and personal care needs
A reliable means of transportation
