CAREGIVERS NEEDED !!

Empathyhands Homecare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Santa Maria Area. We are looking for Covid-vaccinated, experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companions for clients in the Santa Maria areas. This is our agency's goal. We want patient-focused individuals like you who truly care about quality home care and have the desire to provide our clients with the best possible care.

We are looking for caregivers who have broad experience. Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle and a cell phone. Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or Senior Companion must also speak English well; have a good driving record. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Nursing Assistant or Caregiver who has exceptional time management skills and is familiar with the challenges of working with Seniors, is highly organized, and can work independently. The successful candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of tasks that include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care task.

These is a part-time shifts

Schedule: Day shift, Afternoon, Tuesdays through Thursday from 12:00 am to 4:00 pm,

Ability to speak, read and write in English sufficiently to understand, document care provided on the Plan of Care , and able to call the agency to report changes and/or issues related to the client and/or 911 in case of an emergency.

Holds a valid Personal Care Aide or CNA Certificate but ( not required )

COVID-19 considerations: Following CDC guidelines

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Job Requirements

To be considered you must meet the following qualifications:- A minimum of 12 months of caregiving experience for performing personal care,

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Current TB skin test or clear x-ray

• Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)

• Three professional and three personal reference

Responsibilities will include personal care, light housework, meal preparation, companionship, Shower, Laundry, transfers, ADL, and other duties as required.

**Those without the above qualifications or documents will NOT be considered for an interview.

Job Types: Part Time, On-Call

Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
