    Job Overview (Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant)

    BrightStar Care's Field Specialist is responsible for providing on-call/short-scheduled care for clients as needed during their assigned availability schedule. The Field Specialist will be expected to go to all assigned shifts within the BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County territory including the office. This role will also be critical in the development of our caregiver team including training shifts for new hires, coaching and mentoring. In addition, this role will assist in upholding our guaranteed compatibility commitment to our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide client care as directed by the Director of Nursing or Registered Nurse Supervisor.

    Requirements

    Driver's License

    Valid CNA or HHA certification.

    Current CPR license

    Reliable transportation and automobile insurance

    High school diploma or GED

    Minimum of one (2) years of documented experience required.

    Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

    Licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.

    Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision

    Empathy for the needs of the client

    Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills

    Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English

    Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents an appositive public image.

    Works as a team member

    Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information and BrightStar Office Information.

    Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have empathy for the needs of the client.
