    What You Get to Do: As a CNA at Hospice House, you'll provide personal care according to the care plan, ensuring patient comfort and privacy. You'll assess patients before and after treatment and work closely with a care manager or nurse to keep the care plan updated and accurate. You'll assist with personal care, mobility, and positioning and guide family members or caregivers. Additionally, you'll prepare and serve meals, help with feeding, and perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.

    Compensation: $21.00-$28.00 per hour (DOE) Differentials: $2/hour for nights & $2/hour for weekends Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 (paid after 90 days of employment) Shifts Available: Full-time- 3-12 hr day shifts per week (36 hrs/week). Relief- a minimum of 5 shifts per month to include days, nights, and weekends. Hours: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hr shift) Days. 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (12-hr shift) Nights.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Valid CNA License.

    Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.

    Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

    One to two years of recent medical care experience in an institutional setting is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home health or hospice experience.

    Current automobile insurance is required. A valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Valid CPR Certification.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
