  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time CNAs/Medication Technicians to join our team!

    CNA- Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the charge nurse as soon as practical.
    • Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift immediately.
    • Ensure that the resident’s room is ready for receiving the resident (bed made, room clean, etc.).
    • Assist with turning, lifting, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
    • Meet with charge nurse on a regular basis, to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, any changes on the unit or with residents, and/or the improvement of services.

    Med Tech- Responsibilities:

    • Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed
    • Ensure clients receive their medication on time
    • Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
    • Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to resident, and other dining related responsibilities, record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor.
    • Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.
    • Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc).
    • Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Resident
    • Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Med Tech if interested in the Med Tech position.
    • Current CNA license in good standing for the CNA position
    • Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR certification
    • Current TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray
    • Previous long-term care experience is preferred
    • Good attendance, punctuality, and teamwork with good communication skills are a must
    • Speak, read, and understand the English language

    Work Schedule:

    Full-time & Part-time

    • 7:00 am- 3:00 pm
    • 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm
    • 11:00 pm- 7:00 am

    Wage:

    • Starting at $16.46
