Our manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to work on our CNC lathes and mills. In this role, you'll produce precision pipe fittings and high-pressure components by interpreting technical shop prints and work orders. You'll be responsible for preparing the machine for operation, performing initial touch-offs, and ensuring each production piece meets quality standards.
* Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to fabricate pipe fittings and high-pressure components.
* Use shop prints and work orders to determine the correct setup, requisitioning stock and tooling, and programming the machine for production.
* Verify fluid levels, grease fittings, and other machine parameters to ensure optimum performance.
* Load programs and insert tooling for touch-off calibrations, establishing reference points for a dry run.
* Produce an initial test piece for measurement of critical dimensions, with oversight or assistance from seasoned personnel.
* Inspect production parts following established quality procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
* Maintain accurate records of production data and set-ups for future reference.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment as a CNC machinist is required.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Proven ability to set up machines for production runs and perform manual machining tasks.
* Familiarity with CNC tooling and programming to ensure accurate machine operations.
* Experience working with CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) from manufacturers such as Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, or DMG Mori Seiki.
* Proficiency in operating CNC Lathes (2-4 axis) from equipment makers such as Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori Seiki, or Samsung.
* High focus on precision and quality control, ensuring parts are manufactured to the required specifications.
* Ability to work with experienced team members to validate production setups and quality results.
