About Us: New Horizon Shutters is a leading manufacturer of high-end exterior shutters. We're seeking an experienced CNC operator to join our team and contribute to our commitment to quality and excellence.

Job Summary: We're looking for a skilled and experienced CNC operator to set up, operate, and maintain our CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-pasted environment. Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines

Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

Inspect parts as they are ran to ensure they within given tolerances

Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless and correct production

Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance

Keep machinery and tools clean and organized

Meet production deadlines, maintain quality standards, and optimize machining processes

Inspect supporting machines such as vacuums, compressors, etc. and report an issues

Fill out daily logs

Requirements:

1+ year of experience as a CNC operator

Strong knowledge of of CNC machining principles

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as Alphacam or SolidWorks

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control methodologies

Certification in CNC machining or related field

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
