We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts, primarily for aerospace and other precision applications.
* Configure and operate various CNC machines, including 3-4 axis vertical machining centers, 5+ axis mills, and CNC lathes, in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
* Program machines using G-Code, making adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues quickly to maintain production flow.
* Conduct thorough quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet customer and industry specifications.
* Maintain accurate production records and complete all necessary documentation.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines, and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide machining processes.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC tooling.
* Proficient in G-Code programming and familiar with operating CNC machines from systems such as Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Mikron, or Dmg Mori Seiki.
* Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
