Responsibility Summary – CNC Machinist:
- Setup machinery for new production runs; including inputting programming updates/changes.
- Operate machinery to produce finished parts.
- Check parts for quality assurance using precision measurement tools.
- Inspect and replace worn tools as necessary.
- Deburr parts as needed.
Qualification Summary – CNC Machinist:
- High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred
- Experience operating CNC machinery
- High mechanical aptitude - ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Ability to move equipment weighing 40 pounds for 20-30 feet
