JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a CNC Machinist who is ready to take the initiative in a fast-paced environment.
The focus of this job is on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Working at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work to meet exacting customer standards is very important to this role.
A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to follow procedures to facilitate the production of highly accurate machined parts is required to be successful in this role.
Duties
\- Perform machining operations, watch for problems in the production process, and check the accuracy of the finished parts against drawings using calibrated measuring tools.
\- Processes shall include; set-up machines, understand CNC programs, in-process inspection, able to utilize inspection equipment, understanding the basics of drawing interpretation.
\- The ability to read and understand customer part drawings and tolerancing schemes, (GD&T).
\- Able to maintain quality management in compliance with ISO 9001/2015.
\- Partner with the leadership team to determine cost saving opportunities.
\- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
\- Certification in CNC machining or 2+ years of experience
\- 2 or more years' experience operating a CNC machining center in a job shop/ production environment.
\- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
\- Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally, in person.
\- Self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to priority shifts.
