Overview:
This role involves operating, setting up, and programming CNC machines to manufacture precision components. The position requires expertise in reading blueprints, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
- Set up, operate, and program CNC mills and lathes.
- Ensure manufactured parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating and setting up CNC machines (minimum 2 years; 5+ years preferred for programming roles).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC operations.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Background in quality control standards (ISO 9001 certification preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
