    Location: Louisville-area Manufacturer (moving to a brand new facility in LaGrange early 2026).
    Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    Reports To: Production Engineer
    Compensation: Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience!

    Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Louisville area known for precision and innovation. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC equipment to support our production goals.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, clean, lubricate, and calibrate CNC machines to ensure optimal operation.
    • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.
    • Part Replacement: Replace worn or faulty components such as motors, sensors, seals, and bearings.
    • Machine Alignment: Conduct precise adjustments to maintain machining accuracy.
    • Software Updates: Troubleshoot and update CNC machine control software when required.
    • Record Keeping: Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage thoroughly.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and operators to address complex equipment issues.
    • Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair.
    • Technical Knowledge: * Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
    • Skills: * Strong troubleshooting abilities. * Familiarity with CNC controllers and control software. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
    • Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Comfortable standing, walking, climbing, and bending for extended periods. * Good vision and hearing for monitoring machinery and alarms.
    • Work Environment: Exposure to moderate noise, oils, cutting fluids, and varying temperatures.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience installing CNC machinery.
    • Familiarity with diverse CNC equipment and controllers.

    Additional Details:

    This position may require occasional overtime and off-shift work based on operational needs. Their facility will relocate to Oldham County, so candidates should ensure they are comfortable with the commute after this year.
