    Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position repairs and maintains production machinery and mechanical equipment.

    Abilities - Are you a good fit:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.

    Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other personnel.

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

    Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.

    The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

    The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and climb or balance.

    The employee is routinely required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:

    Troubleshoots and repairs all malfunctioning or inoperable plant equipment and machinery

    Repairs and/or replaces defective parts.

    Lubricates and cleans parts as needed.

    Minor electrical troubleshooting.

    Starts devices to test their performance.

    Performs scheduled preventative maintenance activities on plant machinery and equipment.

    Strictly enforces equipment lockout procedures for all machines and equipment when repairs are being performed. Posts lockout tags to notify employees of lockout status.

    Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems arise which impact expected level of performance.

    Must contribute to a positive work environment.

    Performs any task required to support customer requirement and company goals.
