TalentLogistix is immediately hiring a skilled CNC Mill Setup Operator in the Talladega, AL area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive wage for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

This role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC Mill Machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Successful candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of both machining short-run or single-piece projects and contributing to ongoing production schedules.

Pay Rate: $24.50/hr-$30.30/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Talladega, AL 35160

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Reliably perform tasks associated with machining of parts.
• Operate and maintain CNC Mill machines.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to ensure part accuracy and compliance.
• Perform basic mill setup and adjustments as required.
• Write and/or edit CNC programs to achieve desired product specifications.
• Machine short-run or single-piece items efficiently, including new parts or repair work.
• Maintain machine cutting tools and overall machine condition.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of relevant machining experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with both mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring and inspection instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and the ability to make edits or create basic programs.
• Must own appropriate tools.
• Dependable with consistent, high-quality work habits.
