Job Title: CNC Mill Setup Technician

Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Calibration: Prepare CNC mills for production runs by installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces. Calibrate machines to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Programming: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to program CNC milling machines. Modify existing programs as needed to improve production efficiency.

Operation: Operate CNC milling machines, monitoring the process to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Document and report any discrepancies or quality issues.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate repairs as necessary.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.

Proven experience in CNC milling setup and operation.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.

Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC software.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
