    We seek a skilled CNC Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift at our granite company. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision granite components according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience working with CNC machinery, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM.

    Responsibilities:

    Set up and operate CNC machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, polishing, and shaping granite materials.

    Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.

    Load granite materials into the CNC machine and adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation.

    Monitor the CNC machine during operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.

    Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet required specifications and quality standards.

    Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.

    Troubleshoot and resolve fundamental mechanical problems that may arise during the production process.

    Maintaining a clean and organized work area ensures a safe and efficient working environment.

    Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.

    Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.

    • 1+ years experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in operating CNC machines and Entry-level understanding of G-code and M-code.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Vocational training or certification in CNC machining or related fields.

    Prior experience working with granite or other stone materials.

    Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.

    Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
