Position Overview

This exciting opportunity is for a CNC Operations Lead to manage CNC machine setup, operation, maintenance, and training. You'll be the key player driving quality, minimizing downtime, and optimizing throughput. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in production environments, takes pride in efficiency, and wants full ownership of CNC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for each production cycle.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure output quality.
• Lead in-shift troubleshooting and real-time machine fixes.
• Build and execute preventative maintenance plans.
• Train and oversee CNC operators on proper machine usage and safety.
• Document and track performance, maintenance, and outputs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC setup, operation, and machine troubleshooting.
• Experience leading or training CNC operators in a manufacturing setting.
• Skilled in reading technical drawings, adjusting tools, and calibrating machines.
• Familiar with a range of CNC machinery; Biesse Rover experience is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance best practices

Must-Haves

• Proven ability to manage CNC machines start to finish.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with machine calibration and output inspection.
• Ability to train operators and enforce safety protocols.
• Organized and consistent with documentation and maintenance records
