    Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
    • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
    • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
    • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and resolve issues.
    • Train and mentor junior programmers and operators on CNC programming techniques.
    • Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and revisions for future reference.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tools.
    • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.
    • Must have experience programming within Siemens NX platform
    • Working knowledge of Hypermill software a plus

    You should be proficient in:

    • GD&T
    • CNC Programming
    • G-Code
    • M-Code

    Machines & technologies you'll use:

    • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Dmg Mori Seiki)
    • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Okuma)
    • CAM Software (Siemens NX)
    • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki, Mikron)
