CNC Programmer - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 35.00/hour - Middletown, PA
- Our client, who has been servicing all branches of the U.S. Military for over 40 years, is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. - The CNC Programmer will develop and implement CNC programs to produce precision parts, ensuring optimal machine performance and adherence to engineering specifications. The CNC Programmer will interpret technical drawings, select appropriate tools, troubleshoot programming issues, and collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize production processes and maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam for precision part production.
- Select tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining efficiency and quality.
- Interpret blueprints and CAD models for accurate machining operations.
- Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve production processes.
- Perform test runs and inspections to verify program accuracy.
- Maintain CNC program documentation for future use.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain an organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient in programming complex CNC components using vertical/horizontal machining centers
- Experience with Mastercam or GibbsCAM, and G&M code troubleshooting
- Strong foundation in GD&T, blueprint reading, and bills of material
