    Responsibilities

    The CNC Programmer and Operator is responsible for programming CNC files for cutters and benders to ensure production and quality objectives are fulfilled. He/she helps to maintain the order's workflow with the company and the team members who depend on parts cut and machined on time and done right. Assist with and accept delegated tasks from the Fabrication Supervisor. Other duties may be assigned, that may or may not include the following:

    Programming & Machine Operations

    Meets Deadlines

    Load & Operate Machines

    Equipment Maintenance & Repairs

    Clean & Tidy

    Skills & Experience

    Strong software skills. Comfortable with Illustrator, V-Carve (or similar), MS Office, and other collaboration software programs.

    Confident written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with supervisors and co-workers.

    Detail Oriented. Ability to check facts and identify errors before starting or submitting work. Ensure all programming and CNC work is professional and error-free.

    Positive attitude. You come to work on time, ready to succeed.

    Time management, prioritization, and organization skills.

    Personally Driven. Continually improving skills and abilities. Open to being taught and sharing knowledge with those around you.

    Qualifications

    Possess a 2-yr degree / vocational degree / or equivalent.

    Minimum of three years experience in the position of CNC Operator / Programmer for company of comparable size or equivalent experience.
