JARCCO Construction LLC is a Highway, Street, Road, and Heavy-Civil Contractor out of the Denver Metro Area in Colorado. EDUCATION:

· MUST have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minium of 5 years of PROVEN experience in a Construction Estimator position for Highway, Road, Street or Heavy Civil projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the estimate and bid process.

· Manage the preconstruction process.

· Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost estimates for projects.

· Prepare bid packages.

· Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work and project requirements.

· Utilize construction estimating software to create comprehensive estimates.

· Research and gather pricing information for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

· Develop cost breakdowns and itemized lists of materials and labor needed for each project.

· Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.

· Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

· Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve cost savings.

· Building and maintaining healthy and long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and other project managers.

· Participating in project meetings, reviewing schedules, and preparing reports.

· Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Proficiency in using construction estimating software, Excel, and Bluebeam.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.

· Knowledge of cost control measures in construction projects.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, and specifications.

· Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations and measurements.

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information.

· High analytical skills.

· Time management skills to work on fixed deadlines.
