Salesforce/Vlocity Developer

Summary/objective

We’re seeking a Salesforce/Vlocity Developer to be an integral member of the team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can perform well independently, interact with clients professionally, and collaborate with diverse internal and external teams. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development and support of Salesforce related projects. The candidate must demonstrate progressive experience in the full life cycle of the software development environment. We’re looking to hire someone who has strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.

Essential functions

SALESFORCE VLOCITY DEVELOPER

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years Vlocity development experience
• Strong development skills and the ability to deliver customer driven solutions
• Current Salesforce Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I Certification
• Current Vlocity Certified Platform Developer
• Technical Skills should include Java, SOAP APIs, Rest (JSON, XML)
• Salesforce Experience should include Lightning, Apex and Visualforce
• Hands on experience in designing and creating solutions using the Salesforce Omni Studio ( formerly known as Vlocity Industry Cloud) application to meet customer’s business needs.
• Expertise with Vlocity methods such as OmniScript, DataRaptor, Calculation Procedures, Integration Procedures, Vlocity Actions, Interaction Launcher and Console, guided process to complement built-in Salesforce functionality such as Lightning Experience and Apex to create unique customer-based solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment of the client solution.
• Work with Project Manager or Solution Architect to estimate level of effort, provide technical expertise and best practices

PREFERRED:

• Vlocity benefits case management knowledge is a plus
• Data integration and/or migration experience
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools is a plus

Experience with both agile implementation methodologies

Supervisory responsibilities

No managerial responsibilities expected.

Work environment

 Remote or on Customer site in the Washington, DC area; All work must be performed within the United States.

Physical demands

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Business Management or related field.

Preferred education and experience

Experience integrating with maps and/or geodata strongly preferred.

Work authorization/security clearance requirements

US Citizenship or Green Card
