    Your Role & Responsibilities:

    • Patient Progress: Implement treatment programs to enhance patient function, closely following plans set by the registered occupational therapist.
    • Skill Development: Help patients relearn daily activities impacted by injury or illness, assisting with skills like coordination and self-care.
    • Ongoing Assessment: Regularly evaluate and report on patient progress, home environment safety, and any adjustments needed in treatment.
    • Communication & Documentation: Maintain precise clinical records, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure smooth care coordination.
    • Family Support: Guide and instruct family members in patient care strategies to boost support and independence at home.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Qualified & Certified: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, certified with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
    • Experienced: At least one year of clinical experience preferred as a COTA.
    • Skilled Communicator: Clear, organized, and compassionate in both verbal and written communication.
    • Certified in CPR and a licensed driver with a reliable vehicle.
