JOIN OUR PROGRAM FOR THE NEW 2021-2022 NEW SCHOOL YEAR AND BE INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY!

Creative Brain Learning is looking for ambitious instructors ready to teach and mentor students of elementary or middle school age. Our program is held in the Alvord Unified School District in Riverside, CA. This position will consist of in-person instruction at an assigned school site. Staff will follow provided curriculum and schedule to ensure the best possible service to students. We are committed to the safety of staff and students for in-person instruction during Covid-19.

This position will have a schedule lined up with the 2021-2022 academic school calendar, meaning there will be holidays, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks, where instructors will not work.

FALL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM PROGRAM:

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday (We are flexible if you are not available all 5 days)

Elementary Sites: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm (Tuesday are early release days so the schedule will change to 12:45pm to 6:30 for Tuesday ONLY)

_Middle School Sites: _Monday to Friday 3:00 to 6:30pm (Tuesdays ONLY are 1:15 to 6:30 pm)

START DATE: ASAP with training provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Instructor will work directly with an assigned class of approximately 10-20 students in socially distance classroom

· Follow the daily curriculum

· Supervise children to maintain their health and safety at all times.

· Provide excellent customer service to all children, families, co-workers, and community members.

· Work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers/teammates to ensure the best quality program and services

· Maintain a clean, safe, pleasant, and enriched environment

· Assist with opening and closing procedures each day including room set-up.

· Serve as a positive role model for elementary or middle school students. Conduct should be respectful, and emphasize appropriate positive values.

· Plan , prepare, and deliver instructional active learning experience

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum of 48 college units or passing an assessment test

· Must be 18 years or older.

· Classroom/ youth experience preferred

· Ability to speak and write Standard English

· Must clear TB and Background check

· Be a positive role model

TRAINING: Training is paid and will take place 50/5 in person and on Zoom.

UNIFORM: Polo shirt uniform is provided. Bottoms may be shorts and pants of any material. NO basketball shorts or leggings allowed. Closed toed shoes must be worn.

Instructors are hired as employees under a w-4 tax form. New hires will be on a probationary period of 90 days with a payrate of 14.00. After the period is over, staff payrate will increase to 14.50-15.50, depending on education and experience.
