    Job Description

    As a New Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and cultivating relationships with potential clients to expand our customer base. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new business, with an emphasis on understanding client needs, presenting solutions, and effectively communicating our value proposition. This role does not involve closing or signing deals but exclusively focuses on generating new business opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities of this role include:

    • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and pain points, and present solutions that address their challenges and deliver value.
    • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and clients, acting as a trusted advisor and resource.
    • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with prospects to reach mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' needs. It is critical that this is done in lockstep support with the CRMified leadership member assigned to the Opportunity.
    • Pipeline Management: Manage the business development pipeline effectively, prioritizing opportunities and ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
    • Sales Reporting: Provide regular and timely updates in the specified selling tools on business development activities, progress against targets, potential risks, and market insights to the Head of Business Development.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

    • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in B2B SaaS or technical services sales (or similar).
    • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Previous experience in a New Business-focused role.
    • Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
