    Join team AIMS in our mission to provide compassionate care to our national heroes and their families at Brook Army Medical Center. We're currently seeking qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare community.

    SCHEDULE:

    -Flexible scheduling with various days/shifts, including ten (10) and twelve (12) hour shifts -Department of Anesthesia collaboration for scheduling flexibility -Minimal weekend coverage required

    DUTIES:

    Administer anesthesia independently for a wide range of surgical cases, including emergencies and trauma patients of all ages, primarily at San Antonio Military Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

    Monitor anesthesia care, manage patient anesthesia experience, perform preoperative evaluations and preparations, administer various types of anesthesia, monitor patient reactions, manage fluid therapy, and perform post-operative evaluations.

    Function as an independent anesthesia provider, responsible for planning and executing anesthesia plans, responding to adverse reactions and emergencies, and collaborating with Anesthesiologists or other specialists as necessary.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    -Current certification in BCLS and ACLS. -Active license to practice CRNA in at least one state in the United States. -Graduation from an approved anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist Education Program Schools or its predecessors.

    -Experience in various anesthesia techniques, including general endotracheal, subarachnoid, and epidural blocks. Preference for experience with central venous catheter and arterial line placement, as well as regional anesthetic techniques.

    -Recent experience (within the past year) providing epidural anesthesia and caring for complex high-acuity patients, including those with critical illnesses and traumatic injuries. -Preference for experience in high-risk obstetrical anesthesia.
