Opportunities Include:

• Part Time openings (24 hours per week):
  • Every Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am to 9pm
  • Every Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 7pm
• Full Time opening (36 hours per week):
  • Wednesdays, 11am to 11:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 10:30pm
• Casual openings:
  • Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), 2:30pm to 11pm
  • PRN/As needed on day and evening shifts

_ Responsibilities:_

• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table.
• Administers contrast media oral and/or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures, patient history indicators, exam protocols and physician orders and follows through with post exam instructions.
• Enters data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time and other technical data into computer.
• Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety, comfort.
• Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs.
• Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.
• Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and recordkeeping.
• Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed.

Qualifications

** Required :**

• ARRT
• IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
• BLS through American Heart Association
• 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent

** Preferred :** __

• ARRT registry in CT or MRI
