    We are seeking an Assembler to join our team in Knightdale, NC. In this role you will be responsible for assembling cabinet components with precision, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and meeting production deadlines based on technical drawings and work orders.

    Position Overview:

    The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling various types of cabinets and furniture components, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and compliance with company standards. This role demands strong attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings to create high-quality, finished products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assembly:

    Assemble cabinet components and parts according to detailed technical drawings and work orders.

    Ensure all parts fit together correctly and are securely fastened to produce a finished product that meets quality standards.

    Quality Control:

    Inspect all components and finished cabinets for defects or imperfections.

    Ensure that all assembled units meet company quality standards before packaging.

    Material Handling:

    Select and measure materials, including wood, laminate, and hardware, to ensure accuracy in assembly.

    Cut and prepare materials as needed, following safety guidelines and technical specifications.

    Tool Operation:

    Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as saws, drills, sanders, and more.

    Maintain proper tool use and cleanliness to ensure efficient and accurate production.

    Hardware Installation:

    Install essential hardware such as hinges, handles, drawer slides, and other components on cabinets to complete the assembly process.

    Maintenance:

    Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition and are ready for use.

    Safety Compliance:

    Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

    Team Collaboration:

    Collaborate effectively with other assembly team members to meet production deadlines and manufacturing goals.

    Communicate clearly with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that arise.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Vocational training or coursework in woodworking, cabinet making, or a related field is a plus.

    Experience:

    Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related manufacturing field is preferred.

    Skills:

    Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free products.

    Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.

    Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and material calculations.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift and move materials and finished products weighing up to 75 pounds.

    Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

    Comfortable working in a workshop or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.

    Work Environment:

    The position is based in a manufacturing or workshop setting, where exposure to loud noises, dust, and machinery is common.

    Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and dust masks will be provided and must be worn at all times.
