Le Macaron French Pastries offers an array of authentic French macarons, pastries, gelato, fine chocolates, coffee and other tantalizing treats. We are looking for full- and part-time, enthusiastic, dedicated Sales Associates to join our team. Earn hourly wages + tips and employee discounts!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Outgoing and energetic

Exceptional CUSTOMER SERVICE skills, PROFESSIONALISM and a strong WORK ETHIC

Well organized

Self-motivated team player

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

Able to work independently and efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Previous job experience in food retail/sales industry

Basic math skills for cash handling/POS and order processing

Food Handlers Certification a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly manner

Create a positive and unique customer experience by providing helpful and high quality service

Full working knowledge of Le Macaron French Pastries product offerings and the ability to educate and answer customer's questions about menu items

Advise customers about sales and promotions

Use of up-selling techniques to increase store sales

Assist with food preparation, baking pastries, etc.

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality and sanitation standards are met

Maintain a clean and organized work environment by restocking throughout your shift, before opening and after closing, bussing tables, washing dishes and cleaning and sanitizing location

Follow established cafe procedures
