JOB DESCRIPTION
*xEV summary activities (MHEV, PHEV) & ICE
*Validation and Calibration of functions associated with PWT: tests on engine bench and on vehicle.
*Carrying out physical tests on sites and post-processing of data following methodologies of the business reference system + report for each deliverable produced. Carry out all the tests in the technical fields by using the physical means on Stellantis sites.
*Calibration delivery at the various milestones in accordance with the process for the technical areas concerned
*Participation in development missions (hot; cold; temperate; altitude; exotic)
*Create, perform, and adjust test campaigns with suppliers and partners to solve challenging issues within the area of expertise and ensure the QCDP of the performance.
*Delivery of the report + fixed validation estimate
*Participation in the development of the job field repository (RoadMap, Feedback, newcomer training...) following tests feedback in conjunction with the RCM
*Guide calibration work and compromises based on the test feedback
*Functional validation of the software: tests on engine bench and on vehicle and vehicle tests via the HCC physical interface
*Follow-up with SIPOC partners to ensure input data (Suppliers, and internal partners…)
*Conducting physical on-site testing and post-processing of data based on the methodologies of the job standards and report for each deliverable performed according to the distribution of HCC/LCC deliverable activities optimized by the supplier
*Delivery of calibration to the various milestones in accordance with the process for the relevant technical areas, as well as the reports and fixed rating
*Participation in development missions (hot; cold; temperate; altitude; exotic)
*Calibrate and validate the estimate of the air filling in stabilized and transient conditions, maximum filling, and limitations, associated pressure and temperature models, as well as all boost-pressure and regulation functions
*Ensure the correct integration of the basic settings recommended by the design
*Ensure the correct accuracy of the engine output torque estimation
*Calibration and validation of the entire chain of injection models and anti-knock and LSPI strategies.
*Calibrate and validate the air/fuel adjustment functions as well as the specific features related to flex fuel engines.
Bachelor's degree and IC in electrical, mechanical or controls engineering with a 1st significant experience in the relevant technical field.
Knowledge of software, CRETA/Powercal, INCA, APOGEE, OPTISIM and measurements.
Technical summary skills.
High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
