    Benefits:

    Let's see who are:

You have a verifiable work history of working for law firms. You can communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and know how to convey a warm and businesslike personality even when struggling with a task list.

You might have an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate or have attended Law School. You can probably identify the different roles at different law firms and tell us exactly where your particular skills fit. You know the difference between a summons and a subpoena (duh), and only need brief reminders about how the different kinds of subpoenas work. You have mastered one or more programs that help you prepare California Judicial Council forms.

Among other things, you will be assigned to discovery work. Familiarity with the mechanics of Civil Discovery Practice will be a major plus. You know how to prepare discovery responses and declarations of disclosure, prepare evidence binders and trial briefs, and meet discovery deadlines. Skill at preparing a motion to compel is a must, and you must be familiar with typical Family Law Judicial Council forms.

You look forward to telling the client how much you accomplished yesterday because you would rather be planning out what needs to happen next. You know how to bill your time by the hour- or the tenth of an hour. You will be paid with the billable hours that clients actually fund.

You know how to keep sensitive information confidential. What happens at the office stays there.

Awe, you probably do type 40 to 60 words per minute but know that that is not as important as figuring out what document to prepare next.

You like to know that you are making a difference. You will. Our team makes huge positive differences in the lives we touch. That is the kind of people we are. You want a better and more lively workplace. You want a long-term commitment to a team where you will work, thrive, grow, learn things, and produce every day. You have already learned how to be a paralegal. Now it is time to get out and challenge you with some tough Family Law cases. This can be a rigorous but extremely rewarding job for the right individual.

Do you have what it takes to join our team? If this sounds like too much fun, then it probably is. Why not send us your resume and cover letter, and see if we can do business together?
