Office manager Physical Therapy Clinic
Job description
We are a fast-growing Physical Therapy (PT) clinic looking for an energetic office manager with a great personality, professional attitude, flexibility, a team player, a quick learner and an empathetic, motivated, organized, responsible individual.
Primary tasks involve managing accounts receivable and payable. Making sure all patient balances are correct. Knowledge of bookkeeping a big plus!
· Establish good rapport with patients, co-workers, and staff
· Greeting patients and providing great customer service answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance
· Credentialing
· Assist in billing
· Assist with in office procedures
· Insurance verifications and authorizations
· Calling and faxing in prescriptions· over the counter collections· In charge of opening and closing the office.· Responsible for sending in payroll
Knowledge of billing electronic claims for PPO/HMO, Medicare, and Workers Compensation.
· Responsible for entering new patient demographics and updating established patient information to maintain accurate patient medical records
· Obtain patient insurance information including eligibility necessary for patient scheduling and billing purposes.· Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments· Respects patient confidentiality with a thorough understanding of the HIPAA laws. Verify accuracy of all incoming patient paperwork, scanned into EMR
