Camelot Care Centers, Inc. Team is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Placement Specialist, contributes to program excellence and integrity by working to maintain the appropriate number of admissions to the Therapeutic Foster Care program and carrying out assigned administrative and clinical duties. Additionally, the Placement Support Specialist II will supervise and mentor assigned Placement Support Specialists and Recruitment and Support Specialists.
DUTIES (Some of them)
Reviewing client referral material, presenting referrals to assigned foster parent(s) able to accept client(s) as a placement, facilitating placement of said client(s) in a foster home by communicating with Program Director, referral source, and the foster parent(s)
Marketing and building internal and external relationships with referral sources and foster parents
Providing families (foster, biological, or adoptive) with training and support needed to create a therapeutic environment in the home
Participating in the on-call process as assigned
Supporting fellow team members to ensure the best outcomes for all Camelot clients and families
Completing documentation within established time frames and rectifying all deficits within the allotted time frame
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Mental Health field
Experience working with children/adolescents in a therapeutic, community based treatment environment (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Current automobile insurance
Position requires driving approximately 25% of the time
