Tinas Burritos is looking for a Buyer

Place orders (daily, weekly, and monthly) for goods and services on time for a seamless operation. We are a lean manufacturing environment producing millions of burritos weekly. Manage inventory to meet planned stock levels and changes in consumer demand

• Nurture the relationship with existing vendors while consistently sourcing new ones.
• Negotiate best product quality, cost, and delivery
• Source new materials as requested to ensure all costs are in line with bids
• Perform continuous competitor and market analysis by researching various mediums for emerging trends in color, materials, and categories, in addition to price point and promotional campaigns from competitors
• Ensure that all vendors have are appropriately vetted and approved by QC and provide written certificates of analysis on all ingredients and specifications
• Managed data queries in SQL, leveraging sales data and exporting to Excel for further analysis
• Maintain records following established policies and audit procedures, and guidelines
• Engage key departments of spend and drive opportunities for value
• Develop supplier performance programs and direct supplier performance
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in business or related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and understand risk mitigation
• Ability to develop positive working relationships will all employees
• Demonstrated multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Adapts well to change and maintains composure under pressure
• Thorough understanding of purchasing concepts and practices
• HACCP knowledge and 3-5 years of food industry experiences preferred
• Tactful, tenacious, and persistent follow up to effectively negotiate with our suppliers
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
