    POSITION OVERVIEW:

Applicants should be passionate about leading children, professionally developing the Camp team, and driving our Camp program to success.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    Physical and Mental Requirements – Youth Director

    There may be a need for standing, walking, sitting, lifting, kneeling, reaching, handling, thinking, reasoning, and calculating, some of it constant.

    This position has an inherent amount of physical and mental stress. All candidates must be prepared for and capable of adapting to such conditions.

    The work of a Camp professional is divided equally with indoor and outdoor activities

    A positive attitude and professional behavior are expected and displayed consistently in all dealings with members and/or fellow Team members. This person is expected to be a role model daily as an example of the intentional camp culture.

    Must be passionate about working with children, highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    A demonstrated ability of providing exceptional Customer Service.

    Qualifications– Camp Director

    · This position is part to full-time with a variable schedule; April - August Full-time Monday through Friday | September - March is 15-40 hours per week for Camp prep. Occasional weekends for outreach to increase program usage.

    Minimum one year of experience working with children

    Minimum one year management experience appropriate to the position

    Reliable transportation to and from work

    CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
