    Camp Health Office Supervisor

    Camp Massasoit runs June 23 through August 22, 2025. This position will allow prep time prior to camp start.

    Position Summary: Provide routine health care for campers and staff and respond to emergency situations requiring medical assistance.

    Essential Functions:

    Evaluating and treating campers minor injuries and illnesses.

    Identify health problems serious enough to require a physician’s attention.

    Inventory, maintain, and control outflow of all nursing and First Aid supplies.

    Safeguard campers’ prescription medications and administer as arranged.

    Record and maintain records of camper visits and inquiries in medical log.

    Communicate with parents and staff on status of illnesses, injuries and camper concerns.

    Complete insurance forms and appropriate Incident Reports.

    Provide training in preventative health care for staff and campers.

    Maintain camp infirmary/health center.

    Communicate to Camp Director areas for improvement or concerns

    Qualifications:

    Current CPR and First Aid Certification.

    Experience in building relationships with a wide range of age groups including campers, staff, volunteers, and parents.

    General nursing experience with large numbers of school age children

    Ability to listen with compassion and concern; demonstrate maturity.

    Ability to respond in professional manner to emergency situations.

    Schedule:

    8 hour shift

    Monday through Friday

    Experience:

    Healthcare: 1 year (Required)

    License/Certification:

    CPR/First AID (Required)

    certification (EMT, RN, LPN, Paramedic) (Required)
