Job Description
The Campus Monitor will serve as a support system for students and teachers during key moments of our instructional day. Reporting to the Assistant Principals of Operations (APO) they will have duties to supervise students to ensure our school is safe and students can thrive. Additionally, they will complete tasks as directed by the APO to ensure our daily operations can run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Monitor Students
Provides supervision of students during key routines and procedures such as but not limited to: hallways, lunch, recess, etc.
Uses calm, warm, and clear communication with students to redirect behaviors
Sets expectations for spaces and behaviors and upholds those expectations consistently
Collaborate with APOs and lead teachers to determine appropriate monitoring spots and times
Addresses and reports all major safety and student code of conduct violations
Operations & Front Office Support
Delivers supplies to classrooms
Helps maintain storage areas and supply inventory
Maintain Bulletin Board upkeep
Assists is in lamination of materials for staff
Assists in setup, clean up, or preparation for regional events
Assists in technology inventory
Serves as floater sub in needed for coverage on the front desk
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Previous experience working in childcare or school settings

The candidate is expected to attend conferences, meetings and training sessions both virtually and in person within the Region.

Work Environment
Reports to work Monday-Friday from 8:30-1:30
Typical school or office environment with frequent interruptions.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate for this position is between $17-$22 per hour and is based on years of experience, educational background, and level of expertise.
