Cancer Programs Coordinator
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Responsibilities: Coordinate and support services for the Cancer Institute's Navigation Services and Community Support. Collaborate with nurse navigators, oncology social work, and support service leaders. Develop and execute administrative tasks, educational events, and community outreach programs. Assist with audio-visual setup, supplies, and room readiness for classes and meetings. Help patients and caregivers with travel and accommodation planning. Support quality/process improvement, event planning, advocacy groups, data entry, and presentation development. Interact with multidisciplinary teams to educate staff on program elements. Perform scheduling, phone answering, and other front office duties. Obtain medical records from offsite facilities.
Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field OR one-year experience in a health administrative or secretarial role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred: Certificate in office or medical terminology.
